Yea, 19s might be an option, what would I run on those? I just want it to look really good with little as rub or no rub at all. Now all I gotta do is figure out where at online or local to get some good deals on rims w/ tires.

So 18x8 245 40 18 front and 18x10 295 35 18 rear. What about the offset and BS?

4/4... I stated that before. Well the front sits a tad lower then the rear, but it's hardly noticeable.

and one more question, what is the overall diameter of that size tire? 225/45/16

thanks for the help!

215 45 16 23.6 tall and good for a 7-8 inch wheel if you want to be really safe

225 45 16 23.7 tall and good for a 7-8.5 wheel

the first gens with zq8s the wheels are really close to the lip if you bag it so you cant go really wide on it. I would test fit the wheel without the tire on the truck before you buy anythign then you can see if a 215 or 225 would be better for your app

yea i didnt plan on goin with a wide tire. cause i was pretty sure the bodys of the first gen trucks are just a touch skinnyer. good call on mounting the wheel w/o the tire.

now all i need to do is find some of them damn zq8's lol

Would a 18x9.5 with 5.5" BS be okay on the rear of a 4 door first gen Blazer lowered 5/5?

I have a 98 S-dime w/ a 255/30/22 Wanli, 22x8.5 rim size and a 35+ offset w/ 1/4" spacers in the front and 3/8" spacers in the rear. They fit fine no worries on the upper fenderwell and wheel well fitment, but does rub frame when turning lock to lock, but ure not going to be going fast w/ 22's and as long as u dont get too crazy whipping the tires around ure not going to rub at all after you figure out how far you can turn lock to lock. I can turn around in gas station parkling lots, in and out of stores etc.....for the people that say 22's wont fit and will rub too much they need to get a set for themselves, and really see.

My 2000 sonoma is bagged so if I run a 18x7 with a 4bs with 215/40/18 and in the rear 18x9 with 5.25bs with 275/40/18 I will be okay? I know the 35 series would be better but I don't want to crack rims.

Since you have no inner fenders in the front you could run between a 225/40 with a about 4 inch b/s and not have to worry about hitting the nothin at full lock. If you wanted you could put 245/35's on the back maybe a litte more backspacing than 4. Here take a look at mine I know its not the same year but it could give u an idea of what will really fit on a S-10's. I've seen 24's on your body style dime, but if that aint you then do what you do here's a pic.

I was inspired.... I found the wheel I want but it's only available in 18x7.5 would that mean that I want a 4.25 bs? Can I use 225/40 ??? Thanks for the help

18x7.5 4.25 bs would be ideal but you can run 4.5 or 4. 225 40 will be fine on that but with 4 inch drop in front will leave some gap.

If you ordered them with 5.25" backspacing and u dont end up with quite enough room, u can always use a small spacer.....but u could prob run that tire size w/ that back spacing. Do you have modified fenderwells, since you are bagged? And the 275/40/18 will be taller than the 275/35/18 which shouldn't crack the wheels unless you really hit something
