Ive been lopoking around and just cant find what i need. Im looking to buy cragar soft 8's 15x7 and putting the tires that are on the truck and running them for awhile they are p205/75r/15. If i buy the soft cragars will i have any problem with rubbing or anything? I also need to know which size lug nuts to go with.
Thanks Alot |

Re: Need some help
lugs iirc are m12x1.5 or something like that, but you can use your stockers if you dont mind how they look.
if you get 15x7 get the ones with 4.0" backspace. you'll be fine. i hope you are at stock height if you are getting tires that tall. |

Re: Need some help
205 is the width of the tire, 75 is the aspect ratio of the side wall. so your side wall is 75% of the 205 width, which is a pretty tall tire but that is the stock size on our trucks so go for it if you are stock height

Re: Need some help
a 205 wide tire is kinda shitty for a 8in wide rim

Re: Need some help
Ok ive been seraching for the last couple days and ive found a few different view points.some people have been saying they get rubbing with the 15x7's with 205 tires and some havent. my trucks 4x4 if that matters . anyways i was wondering what the biggest tire would work on a 15x7" cragar soft 8 with stock ride height would be? stock 205's would be fine but i was wondering if i could go with a 215 or 225 without rubbing? any input would be appreciated!
thanks. |

Re: Need some help
well since your truck is 4wd, it's a whole different ball game!
4wd has 6in backspace from the factory. you'll want to get as close to that as possible, because if you go 4.5in backspace it'll look dope as hell but because your tires poke out 1.5in more, they rub when you turn unless you have a lift. |
