Need new tires but what?!

Heres the tires on my truck now...they look too small for my truck because of the lift kit and they are kinda bald anyway. I dont want or need some huge meaty tires cuz its a DD and i need as good as gas mileage i can get but the one's on there now just look weird cuz they seem a lil undersized...so got any suggestions?

Either lower the truck or put on some 30X9.5 A/T

I would take the lift kit off the truck but i hear it would cost me quite a bit of money and time?

what kind of lift is it?

looks like tbar crank / keys and shackles

if thats the case, just pull the shackles off and put shorter ones on

Im not sure what kind of lift kit it is cuz the previous owner installed it but i know he put the leaf springs above the axle in the back...not sure what the name of that is. I wanna take the lift off too as long as its not gonna cost an arm and a leg. If i cant take the lift off i looked at the Firestone destination's...but with bigger tires im gonna need to change out the gears otherwise im gonna bog down and ill be gettin worse gas mileage...so idk what to do
