Need help with tire size

I have a 2006 4.3 reg cab silverado current tires are 265/70/17. Im getting new tires on it tomorrow. Whats the biggest that could fit without any rubbing? I heard I shouldnt have any problems with 285/70/17, but what about 285/75/17?

Thanks

Re: Need help with tire size

I've seen 33x12.50r17 Nitto Mud Grapplers on aftermarket 17x10" wheels (no clue on the offset) on an 06 Avalanche with stock suspension and no rubbing.
