Re: Corvette Rims Thread
TTT
Deos the width of the rim effect the spacer used? I am using a 8.5in wide wheel. I want the wheels to be flush with fenders. I was thinking of using a .5in spacer. |

Re: Corvette Rims Thread
I have c5 rims and use 2.5" spacers and they're just about flush with the fenders. Maybe a little more than that.

Re: Corvette Rims Thread
Most c5 rims should bolt right up to a 4x4, no spacers neede, without sticking out.

C6 18x8.5" all around with 235/55/18s. 4x4 so no spacer required although I have run 1" spacers in rear for better looks.

heres my 98 s10, 03 c5 rims, 2.5" spacer all round with a 3/3 drop with 255/55/18 in rear and 235/50/17 up front, unlevel driveway but i got more if needed..
![]() ![]() here is a cell phone pic of my truck a couple days ago, now running 245/40/18 and 225/45/17 and lowered 5/6 with coils and spindles. ![]() ![]() will get some better pics tomorrow, truck is now lower than that, i had the stupid sway bar holding me up a good inch or so.. it now has removed inners, cut fender skins, and relocated stuff under hood. Re: Corvette Rims Thread
Anyone have any rubbing issues when bagged with the C5's up front? I'm getting a set of them soon, and have been told that my tie rod will hit, or that I won't clear the fenders. It looks like it has been done before, so any prior experience tips would help a lot.
Thanks, Matt |

I was told that you HAVE to have stock spindles for the Corvette rims... Just from what I've been told, though.
