How about I teach you so you can pass the knowledge on(providing that I am doing it right lol)
You start by assuming the wheel is 0MM offset. This means on an 8.5" wheel you start out with 4.25" backspacing. Then according to whether or not the offset is positive or negative you add or subtract that number accordingly.
BUT You have to convert MM to inches before doing so.
MM to IN. conversion unit=.03937
56MM x .03937=2.204"
4.25+2.204= 6.454" backspacing
