Colorado Custom Center Caps HELP!
I have a set of Colorado Custom wheels they have the center cap with a rubber gasket to keep it in place. I have had them on before but for some reason can't get them to go on now. Anyone have any idea on an easy way to do this? Also every other truck I have seen with Colorado wheels has a screw in the center cap can I convert mine over to this?
Here is a list of things already tried. Heated rubber gasket in microwave to make it more flexible. Had a friend hold it with his feet and tried beating it on with a rubber mallat (didn't work but was pretty funny when I accidently hit his foot instead of center cap )Placed a jack against the wall and tried comprising the center cap on (the truck actually moved before the center cap would go in. Tried lubericating the the gasket and compirsing it on. P.S. I will try to get pics up in a day or two to help figure this out. |
