Chrome Iroc rims

I'm really thinking about putting some big irocs on my 2003 s10 xtreme....but I have no clue how they'd look. Anyone have any pics they've come across or can you recommend the size rims and spacers required? Thanks for any help.

This thread just sold me on some 20" Iroc's. Are there any other companies other than American Racing that sell them? Also who did you all buy them from, or where is the best place for the $$$$?

Re: Chrome Iroc rims

Wicked, your wheels seem to have a slimer spoke to them than some of the others. What brand are yours? I was just looking on Ebay, and see there are several different brands, and they all seem to have some different features. If all else, the 8" width of the American Racing line is a good selling point for me.

KDH, thanks for the straight on side view. The AR wheels in 20" look good. I have a first get that will be bagged, and think they will be a good match.

Hey guys, what size rubber you suggesting for the 8" wide wheels? The roads are not the greatest here, and I would like to keep the wheel from getting bent.

Thanks, Brian P.

Re: Chrome Iroc rims

I heard from a rim dealer friend of mine that these wheels arent out anymore. There are supposedly only 2 sets left in the world and in 18" only. I'm not 100% sure so don't quote me on that.

Re: Chrome Iroc rims

I just ordered some 18X8 Chrome iroc z rims today . I got them off ebay from customwheels.com in cali. they come mounted and balanced with lug nuts and center caps. I got them with 245/40/18 for the back and 225/40/18 for the front. The local tire places wanted about ~$400 more then I ended up paying for them on. They should get to my door by next friday the latest and then I'll post pictures asap. lol

I've been wanting irocs for about a year and decided to finally spent the dough for them. They'll be going on my 5/7 drop reg cab 01. I'm bagging it within the next few months as well so the rims will look great with the truck laid out. Also, Its indigo blue so hope it looks as good as the ones posted here.

For 18" chrome with center caps, lug nuts, and tires mounted and balanced I paid $1069. But shipping was another $169 from cali to CT. I was looking at pricing for several weeks and this was the best deal I found. I wish I seen them for only 800 with tires. are you sure they were 18" and chrome??

heres a link with just the rims w/o tires:
http://rover.ebay.com/ar/1/711-53200...4&toolid=10001 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-18x8-IROC-Z-NEW-WHEELS-RIMS-S10-BLAZER-S15-PICKUP_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ72Q3a1205Q7c66Q 3a2Q7c65Q3a12Q7c39Q3a1Q7c240Q3a1318Q7c301Q3a1Q7c29 3Q3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZi tem360145587508QQitemZ360145587508QQptZMotorsQ5fCa rQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

theres a few different companys which make the iroc z. American racing, oasis, oe replica, and a company called replica. summit sells the american racing ones for around $700 but you need to pay for shipping and then tires are 400-600 a set for a cheap to avg tire. I called a few other places and the rims were about $900 shipped to my house. The tire places around ct wanted about 1500-1600 for the rims and tires. lol

Re: Chrome Iroc rims

On another thread about Iroc's, UniqueWheels08 said he spoke to the American Racing Company. They merged with another company, but do still have a warehouse full of Iroc's. I requested a price from him for both a set of 18's and 20's. I want to see how much I will be set back between one or the other. I would like to go with the 20's but that depends on how much $$$

I got mine from Rims-4-less off of eBay. They are 255/35/20. They are replicas so they arent exactly the same but very very similar. Heres a few pics of mine. I saved some money going with replicas, at least at the time.

Re: Chrome Iroc rims

i got mine from customwheels-the guy's name is ricky, I spoke with him a few times he seemed real cool. He answered all my questions and the price was right so I went with him. plus he let me change the tire sizes without charging extra. I ordered them on thursday and he got the wheel/tire package together and shipped on friday, and its suppose to be here tomorrow. Across the whole country in less then a week. I'm excited and hope the weather is good so I can mount them asap lol.

Re: Chrome Iroc rims

i got mine from custom wheels market on ebay..before the truck went to avtekk to get the back done it sat in the driveway for 2 months and the corners of the wheels got pitted from water...its just the quality of the chrome is not what it used to be..my old a.racing wheels lasted 5 years before pitting its rediculous but i cant really complain cause there cheap enough as it is.../rant///

Re: Chrome Iroc rims

Hey guys, thanks for all the nice pictures. I broke down and ordered a set of American Racing Iroc 20's from Summit for only $784. There was a 5 week backorder, but I got them to my door in only 2 weeks . Not to mention shipping was free, and I only had to pay $9 for a handaling fee. I got an apointment on wednesday to get tires, and I will try to get a picture up.
