The reason the black looks like it has dirt in it is because there is a silver flake clear on it. looks like dirt in the picture but sparkles in the real world. especially when the sunlight shines on it.

Work looks nice

Should have PM'd an admin or taken more action to avoid having your sig removed. Research helps.

Don't rip on the site....it's not very nice.

No, your missing what I'm putting.

We (myself included here) all appreciate custom, quality work.

However, advertising w/o paying isnt something that happens here.

That is all.

Re: Check it out! Custom Wheels

Looks like rims you'd see on a ricer in my opinion? What size are they? It could just be because the pictures is kind of close up. Put them on or back up a little and they may look totally different. Either way though, good job on them.

Re: Check it out! Custom Wheels

Yeah there for my Honda daily driver. I wanted to make them bright so i could attract some attention. Cheap advertising...

I have New 20"s for the truck. Not powder coating those just yet. They still have stickers on the tires...

Re: Check it out! Custom Wheels

did you actually lay down 2 colors in the powder coater?
i was told this wouldnt be feasible and i would be better off have one color powdercoated and then paint the areas i want to the second color

Yes That is all powder coat!!!! We have learned some new tricks for laying multiple colors. There are actually 3 colors on the wheels, orange, black and a silver flake clear. Most powder coat shops will not do this but we will, if you are willing to pay for it. It adds many steps to the process and therefore cost more.

Re: Check it out! Custom Wheels

I would ask what method you use, but I guess that would be a trade secret as well :P Multiple colors is time consuming and I find most customers don't want to pay what it's worth.
