Re: Aftermarket 15/16" Wheels on your S10

Thanks guys, i have a 4" drop, and i have 20's right now, i wanna down-size to a 15-16 all black rim, not sure what to go with.. i kinda like the look of the rim that you have on your dime "alarm_the_alarm" only with a smaller tire for me of course, as i have a 4/4" drop lol

anyone else?

Re: Aftermarket 15/16" Wheels on your S10

yea. i cant complain they are cragar soft 8s. i was just buying them to hold me off till i could get some chrome wheels but i like them enough to keep um. do to the economy i couldnt get wheels till late december that i like in chrome.

you cant beat the soft 8s for 39 bucks a wheel plus the center cap so its like 50 a wheel but very cheap for "Custom wheels"

Re: Aftermarket 15/16" Wheels on your S10

mines not 4wd either.....

It depends on what you like. i wouldnt use the 4 wheel drive much so i saved money and bought a 2wd. The plus is when its lifted theres alot less shit to break in the front end compared to 2wd.

also a 4wd s10 is with low miles is close to the same price as a silverado with like 80 thousand.. IMO ill take the silverado

What kind of mileage do you get with wheels like that??

Youre running the 4.3 V right?

if this question pertains to me then yes i am running the 4.3 V with about 110 thousand on the motor. as for millage i have not been driving it a whole ton cuz i need new tie rods and dont have money to buy them right now but i will have them on this weekend and the tires aligned.(aligned by tape measure right now LOL)

My lift has only been in for about a week n a half but so far out of the driving i have done in town i have went through about a half a tank and i have averaged so far 17 so its very respectable in town. I also have the 3.07 gears unfortunently so it works a little of the start but i can still burn the shit out of the tires (had to try it there was fresh tar also spins on not fresh tar just not as well obvouisly) I will let you know as soon as i do some more highway driving to get you a good average. i am guessing i wont get to bad of millage i used to get 22 on average and 20 with me beating on it.

Yea my friends give me shit for liftin a 2wd but they also say it looks sickk. They all have silverados so i got the little truck of the group.

But anyway im running 3 inch lift spindles up front from ebay BRAND is AIM and they cost 230 shipped. And in the rear i have 2 inch lift shackles also from ebay they cost me 50 bucks.

then your wheel in tire chose is yours.

Total i have about 1000 into the lift and wheels and tires so you realy cant complain to much seeing how lifting a silverado is about 1600 for the lift alone.
