2010 Camaro SS wheels???

Has anyone tried or put on the new Camaro SS wheels yet? I found a set for sale with tire and less than 100 miles on them. They are 5x120 bolt pattern, but no idea on offset or bs or even width. I tried to post a pic but can't for some reason, so here's the link, and if your interested you can shoot them an email. If you have a pic of your truck with them on it please pm me a pic.

Re: 2010 Camaro SS wheels???

From what I have read, camaro and corvette wheels fit right on a 4x4. Some 4x4 owners run a 2 inch spacer on the rear to push it out a little bit.

Saying that, I believe you would need to run a 2.5 spacer all the way around on you 2wd truck.

If i'm wrong please correct me!

BTW....those wheels would look badass on a dime

FireBall - Those were for the 4th gen wheels. I dont think anyone here has tried the 2010 wheels yet.

Iroc - Im sure if you goto GMs website and option out a Camaro it will tell you the width of them. Not sure where you are going to find the offset/bs.

Re: 2010 Camaro SS wheels???

I've got a set of 19" wheels from my wife's G8 that are the same bolt pattern/offset(38mm) as new Camaro wheels are. I need to dig them out of the barn and test fit them to see what kind of spacer I would need to run for them. The problem I'm finding is trying to find adapters from a 120mm bolt pattern to 4.75".

Re: 2010 Camaro SS wheels???

Re: 2010 Camaro SS wheels???

well im pretty sure the camaro wheels are 5x4.75 or 5x120.65mm this ad on ebay says they are but others say 5x120 but ive seen alot of guys use 5x120 wheels on s10s but the backspacing im not sure if it will hit anything on a 2wd truck but u might just need a spacer.

Re: 2010 Camaro SS wheels???

you wont be able to bore out the wheel not safely, but for the rear you can have the axle shafts redrilled for 5x120

2010 Camaros and 2008-2009 G8's both have 5x120mm pattern. 67-02 Camaros all had 5x4.75" bolt pattern.

Re: 2010 Camaro SS wheels???

new camaro wheels are the same offset and such as c6 vette wheels.

i saw in a magazine they put a 5th gen in the 11's with a cam and bolt ons, and some slicks they had on zo6 c6 wheels.

Re: 2010 Camaro SS wheels???

you can run a 5x120 no problem...we install them all the time at work. Some guys us E.T. lug nuts, but you usually dont even need those.

I bought a set that size to put BMW wheels on my truck, which also uses 5x120

Re: 2010 Camaro SS wheels???

On my 93' S10 The 2010 Camaro wheels fit nicely as far as the lug bolts lining up with the wheel dead on...
The problem lies in the hub on the S10 being too long and too large for the hub center of the wheels on the front of the truck. The rear will bolt right up but those hubs up front are going to piss you off. I had to order these so they would fit:

5X4.75 to 5X4.75 Adapters 1.25 inches thick

Here's where I got them from:

I would still only run the correct bolt pattern, but really it isn't much at all. That is .65 of a millimeter, which is only .325 millimeter per lug.

oh ok, i didnt realize it was in millimeters, .012 is just a shaving, i wouldnt worry about it then, most people probably have that much from wear

Re: 2010 Camaro SS wheels???

.65 of a MILLIMETER is NOT a lot by any means. Going from one wheel maker to another you could have that variance on what's supposed to be the exact same lug pattern. No one makes a 5x120 to 5x4.75 adapter for a good reason... because its pointless.
