Where is the headlight buzzer located?

Hey guys;
I just finished rebuilding a 1995 GMC Sonoma SLS 2.2 auto.
I've left the lights on for the second time, and would like to install a headlight reminder buzzer.
I recall on my first generation S truck that there was a small brown electronic box located near the drivers feet that housed the headlight reminder buzzer, and this would just plug in.
Does the second generation have this option?
I'm hoping I can just go to the wreckers and get one from another truck that had more options than mine.
I have the 1995 GM service manual, but can't seem to find the answer.
Thanks in advance.
Dan

Re: Where is the headlight buzzer located?

I searched some older posts here on S10forum.com, and found a wiring schematic of what I need. The "Audio Alarm Module" is what I'm looking for, and it's supposed to be located on the "convenience center".
Where is this "convenience center"?
The fuel pump and horn relay are also supposed to be in this "convenience center", but I know for a fact that those 2 relays are located in my glove box behind a panel.
I'm confused !!

Re: Where is the headlight buzzer located?

I went to the wreckers today and trashed a dash there first. I found the box and plugged it into my truck. All is well now and I wont leave the damn lights on.
You're right about the annoying sound coming from it. I wonder if the newer generation trucks sound better? Any idea what the new ones sound like?

Re: Where is the headlight buzzer located?

As far as I know, the ’95 Sonoma comes with reminder buzzer for the truck headlights. Why is yours missing? Anyway, you might want not to consider not putting those annoying buzzer dude. My truck got those and I really want to remove that sound!

When you turn the key, the auto lights come on, when you turn off, they go off. 98+ does that. It's annoying on mine. I've never turned the light switch on any of my trucks except the first to realize that no matter how many times you turn it, the lights stay on. lol.
