rear running lights

i was trying to figure out my pos and neg wireing on my tail lights so I could install a wire harness for a trailer and somewhere along the lines the wires touched and sparked and now my driver side rear running lights wont work, everything else, turns brakes etc i stripped the harness for the bulb and put a meter to it and it is getting no power, any ideas?

Re: rear running lights

check your fuses. My dad's truck lost just the left hand side running lights and it was because a fuse was blown. I don't know what year you have, but it will either be on the driver's side fuse panel or under the hood. Hope that's all you need.
