Put in new spark plugs and wires, just wondering

I am resting the wires on the valve covers, is this okay? The valve covers do get hot...Thanks!

Yeah it'll be fine. The plug wires go directly next to the exhaust manifold and they are waaaay hotter. Just don't let them rest directly on the exhaust manifold.

Two of the wires are on the side of the cover, not resting, just touching the cover. Just wanted to make sure that was ok. thanks for the help and quick responses!
