My 96...

Basically all I've done to it so far is lowered it 2/3, put on a better looking set of wheels/tires, and took off the bulky front license plate frame. Its my DD, I've had it maybe 2 months now. Gonna do the Blazer grille/composite headlight swap in the next couple weeks.

You can get it from LMC or the stealer. They're for the updated grilles.

Re: post up 2nd gens

Here is mine. 94 S10 4x4 with the 4.3l. Only a few things done to it so far. I would still like to add a visor, maybe fender flares, dark tail lights and either replace/remove body molding.

The Mods so far are:

Hand Controls
Pioneer CD/Ipod Deck with Ipod hookups in center console
Kicker 12" Sub w/ 300w amp (for now)
CB w/ 2 3' Fiberglass Antennas
Better Built Toolbox
Grille Guard w/ extra lights (the stock headlights really werent that great)
American Racing Wheels (i believe these are/were stock on some vehicles)

And finally the pictures. Enjoy.

Before the toolbox

After (sorry for the bad cell phone picture)

what are "hand controls"?

I really like your truck. I don't see many practical trucks here.
Here are a few bad shots of mine. it;s a longbed with ARE cap and "windoors" along with some home made wheelwell boxes which are awesone and help with loading boards and storing things

Hand controls are so that i can drive. Im a paraplegic so no use of my legs. All done by hand.

And yeah there are a quite a few trucks like you said that arent the most practical. I try to make this pickup "mine" while keeping the daily driver aspect of it.

Your truck looks like a nice truck too. i like the color of yours/mine. It looks very neat in the sun

I also wanted to edit my post but couldnt. I forgot to add the pic of my Sub/Amp and custom box me and my father built. The amp and the rear of the s10 get a little banged up from my wheelchair but thats somthing i gotta live with. Thats why i have a cheap amp. haha. I never have passengers in the back because of my wheelchair so that is why i can block the seat like that. The system sure sounds good back there for what it is and what i have into it.

EDIT OOO i also have to add that she is getting flowmaster exhaust installed in the next week or 2. Shall sound good!

Re: post up 2nd gens

Hey thanks. I also never saw the CB antennas between the cab and bed. cool. I'd also like to get simple loop type brushguard, and you're right the stock lights SUCK
I also have a 95 with 40k.

My S10 next to the Mustang in the garage.

I'm planning on getting either some ZQ8's, or some 7 spoke wheels for it.
If anyone has seen the Saleen Mustang wheels....that is what I am going after.

So I was really tempted to do a '98 Noma front swap on my S10...but this is making me want to do a reverse swap now...Get rid of the '98 S10 front and get a '97 Noma clip.

Truck looks beautiful though

new grille insert.
you can pop off just the grill, and replace it, with the same "face"...
im bad at explaining haha, its like if you were doing a billet grill insert...

then you can have a badgless front.
hope this helps man.

I dont know whats up with the camera...looks like moisture got in the lens.

The bumper used to be a gloss black with random brown paint splatter. So i flat blacked it and the grille to match the wheels. 5/6 dropped
