Installed my Headlights, the Correct way
I just came upon the "Have you removed your headlights"
Wow......I knew when I put them back in, they were easy, and not nearly as hard to put in as take out. So much better now, Glad I decided to read through the forum. Something so simple, can be done wrong so easily. Thanks for that "sticky" about it. Regards Sonny |

Re: Installed my Headlights, the Correct way
I never read that post because I have never removed my headlights and don't intend on replacing them. I know my dad wouldn't have messed with them and didn't think he ever had work done on the front of the truck. So I took five minutes to read that sticky and holy crap, one of my lights was in wrong. I had noticed they didn't look right when driving but never noticed the difference in the hood gap. I've been driving it for just over a year like that. Kind of like I knew what Chevy lean was but never noticed on my truck until one day I actually looked, now I can't forget about it.

Re: Installed my Headlights, the Correct way
Well, I'll say Thanks again. When I pulled the lights to put in the new
bulbs, I'd only had the truck for about 3 days and had only driven it about once at night. I thought after I put them in and drove it at night, that the lights seemed like they were a little high reflecting on the street signs. I thought "hmmm, I don't remember that".....but I just blew it off as being a dumb a**. I figured "they couldn't be wrong, how could they be wrong, I didn't touch any adjustment screws".....................so again, THANKS......you guys ROCK!!!!!! Regards Sonny |
