How the fack do you get to the heater core??

I've changed many a heater core but never had a problem doing it until my 00 xtreme started leaking.

I'm about ready to smash the damn blower box so HELP ME!!

I got the whole dash out and still can't figure out how to get the core from the box..... So if youv'e done this before help me out a bit.

My 97 I had was so easy and only took me a couple hours. Why the hell did they change it.

If I recall correctly, on the 98+ there are one or two bolts on the outside that you have to remove. I will look for that thread for you.
