97 with 64,000. Everyone with automatics out there, has anyone had tranny problems around 100,000 mi and up??

I've heard many bad stories about the 4L60E. Most recently from a guy I work with. Complete trans failure at 118,000.

my brother had his tranny replaced @~70K or so...2.2..auto, the truck almost sounded like a manual to begin w/ so I believe it came from the factory w/ some kind of problem

Me and my wife, Anna_Bunny, just got a leftover 2003 black fleetside x-cab with 2.2 and a 5 speed, with 430 miles on it.

Thankies, next comes a slamming and a new set of wheels, perhaps a set of ZQ8's and white or yellow tires.
