The S-10 I own and drive every day s a 96 4.3 longbed std cab, auto.
It has 242,000 miles on it.
It is a purple wih fleet trim and i have never seen another one exactly like it.
I ordered it in the fall of 1995.

The worst repairs have been a fuel pump and earlier this year i put a used tranny in it. I should have gotten a manual transmission

2000 s10 bought in 03 with about 60k on it i think. just hit 71k tonight on my way home. get my protege back tomorrow hopefully. so this will go back to sitting in the backyard in pieces. 2003 mazdaspeed protege has like 73k on it

dont mean to interrupt the thread, but does anybody have a set of new zq8 wheels? Im lookin for a set for my first gen and i kinda want to get rid of my IROC's that i have. Im getting ready to repaint them, so if anybody wants to do a lil tradin plus some cash, i can paint them whatever color you want.

i have a 2000 chevy s10 perfect shape 200000 miles and the only problems i had were one alternator 5 batteries 2 qwarter panals cuz they rotted and 6 sets of brakes

96 Sonoma 4wd, 5pd, stepside: around 150k. Actual milage unknown, though. Previous owner swapped the broken gauges for some not broken one with nearly 200k. It reads over 200 now, but the title read 137 when I got it. He said he put about 8 thousand on it while he had it (all he used it for was checking fence lines on his farm once a week).

Worst repair so far has been a new tranny, clutch kit, and slave cyl. But I think the truck was poorly maintained before my ownership, and the trans was ran bone dry. When I got it was already too late. The rear end makes some horible clunking noises everytime you shift or engage or disangauge the clutch, too. It's the next thing I'm going to try to figure out.
Anyone have a suggestion on it? Does it sound like maybe it just needs to be serviced, or do you think because it probally has never been serviced that something is broken and will now need to be replaced??

98 2.2 198,000 miles other than regular repairs ie plugs, wire, ect. replaced h2o pump twice and thats about it. I bought the truck new in 98 w/ 6 miles. It's been great and I hope to another 198,000 miles out of it.

i have around 65k on my motor. and 105k on the body..... i had to put a new motor in because some dirt got into it and their ended up to be a alot of ticking.. but my last truck just died last month at 215k. the kid i sold that to beat the shit out of it (more then i did) both trucks were 2.2's and i bought a winter beater with a v6 and it had 205k and ran great.
