hood latch
so the cable broke on my 94" Sonoma what do you guys use instead of replacing the cable to trip the latch?

i d just replace it. mine broke off at the handle. just taped it pulled through was pretty easy

Unbolt the latch from the core support, pop the hood open, install hood pins, never have to worry about the cable again
|

the cable alone from GM is almost 60 bucks and pins are only 15 bucks.

Just get a long cable for a 10-speed bike (just use the inner) & a barrel type cable stop. There....it's fixed for about $3.
And no donk holes in your hood!! |

hmmm cable from the pick ur part 5 bucks tops....shitty hood pins that'll end up rusting and lookin like ass real quick around 20 bucks. i don't see the cost efficiency personall. but hey with them sweet hood pins maybe vin diesel will wanna date with ya lol
