Bad mileage on LPG and gas

Hi,
I have a '98 4x4 S10 with 82K miles on it, modified to work wth both gas and LPG /Liquid Propane Gas/. Lately the mileage has droped a lot both on LPG and gas. The only modification appart from the LPG is a K&N type filter. The engine runs fine, but I have the feeling that it has lost some power. I don't get any trouble codes. My main suspicions are towards the EGR and the cat. I think of removing both of them. Any ideas?
Just to explain that the LPG is fed into the intake with the incoming air, so the PCM has no way of controling it, threfore it is not possible that the PCM pumps more fuel to compensate for a faulty sensor. The problem is somwhere AFTER the fuel/air mixture is fed into the intake.
