A/C clutch switch

I'm putting A/c back in my 2003, and Im having trouble finding a part.

It's the little round plug on the EVAP canister, I was told it controls the A/C compressor clutch. Problem is, on my truck, the harness has 3 wires running into it, and everywhere I go they pull out a switch with only 2 wires. I looked at a friends truck and he also had the 3 wire setup like I do

My truck is a 2003 2.2L

Could someone tell me the part number for this switch, maybe go check if yours has 3 wires and get the number off it?

Re: A/C clutch switch

I assume you mean the dyer/accumulator. That is a compressor cycling switch. Sorry I dont have a p/n. Maybe you are telling them the wrong part, so they are looking it up wrong.

type in your vehicle, then look up a/c switch. compressor cycling switch will come up, that should be the one your looking for.

Do you mean the low pressure switch? It's the only electricl thing on the accumelator/dryer. It shuts turns the clutch off at low pressure, like when your low on freon. ?????????

I looked it up on that website, but it doesn't tell you how many prongs are in the plug.

Should be two, my 4.3 AC has two, I can't see why any system would be different, all it is keep the system from running if it's real low on freon or there's a blockege.

Well I figured everything out at the dealer today. 2003 is a one year only system, All the hoses, the switch and the receiver/dryer are 2003 only, nothing else works. The biggest difference is the a/c switch on an 2003 is on the lower hose from the firewall to the condensor, not the canister itself

Again, The "03 with a 4.3 V6 must be made like any other GM system. The low pressure switch is on the accumeulator/dryer and has two wires on it.
