A big "strike out" today at the Pick&Pull!

I went to the local Pick&Pull today to try and score a 60/40 seat,
absolutely not one in the whole yard....except maybe one that would
take some engineering to get in.
The whole yard.....2 second gen S-10's.....No Sonoma's......3 2nd gen
Blazers, all with buckets, no Bravada's and not even a decent pair of Sunfire buckets.
I swear that place would have been "Heaven" for anyone looking for Ranger
or Exploder parts

I decided to look for spares for my Saturn, not much in that way either.
I did find a nice pair of perfect tailights that I could set back, but of all my
tools I had with me.....no T-15 torx so I left empty handed.
I'm not out more then 3 hours of my time, a buck to get in, and about 3 bucks worth of gas there and back, so it wasn't horrible. Maybe I'll check
some others tomorrow.
Glad some of you all are having luck.
Regards Sonny

Re: A big "strike out" today at the Pick&Pull!

I was quite surprised about the inventory. I figured it would be a land
mine of 10's!!!!!! They had more Saturns then 10's....and that blew
my mind. I've got another Pick&Pull a little closer to me, that isn't a
Pick&Pull, but the same parent company. I'm going to try there tomorrow.
Never figured it would be this hard?

Leadsled2020.......I pm'd you back........Thanks

Regards Sonny

Re: A big "strike out" today at the Pick&Pull!

It is rare to see 98+ S-10's in the junk yards around here. I go once a month to two different places. Seems like anything I want for my truck was not used or not quite the same off the 94-97 body. Seems like most 98+ S10's in the junk yards around here are Blazers that rolled over with the windows smashed out and glass is ever where. It took me 2 years of looking to find the factory CD holder for the center council on my 98.
