Re: ZR1 Wheels
Since you have the wheels why don't you just try them and see if they fit?

Re: ZR1 Wheels
You'll need a minimum of a 2.25" spacer for the fronts to clear the tie rod ends, I believe.

Re: ZR1 Wheels
I've never seen a ZR1 18" wheel factory or replica. They've all been 17's. Sure, they make plenty of 18" corvette wheels, but not specifically ZR1's. I'm guessing he has a corvette wheel, just maybe not a ZR1. Either way, they're all the same backspacing.

Re: ZR1 Wheels
Huh, well I'll be damned. I stand corrected. There are aftermarket 18" ZR1's.

The 2.3" are perfect size for most C5/C4 vette rims. I bought my 2.25" for my wagon wheels from here, http://www.ezaccessory.com/Wheel_Ada.../5475-5475.htm, but even still the tie rods in the front are a little closer than comfortable. It's only an extra 1/16", but every little bit helps. |
