worst nightmare
AHH! I spent from 230AM to 830 AM tearing off my hubs and putting new ones on. its still making a grindy/whistly/rotating noise from inside the front fender on the passenger side! What could it be???? the axles?? its not clicking like a cv joint usually does.

Re: worst nightmare
Brakes in good condition? I would take a good look at them, I had a rock wedged between my pad and rotor once. Make sure the dust sheild isnt rubbing.

Re: worst nightmare
i had the rotors and pads off to do the hubs. everything looked ok, but yeah the original noise sounded like there was brake rub issues. but like i said it all looks ok. i got the axle anyway. i lost my haynes manual. im gonna try and put it on tonight without it.

Re: worst nightmare
its a bearing in the diff. according to the local shops. the blazer is sitting at the dealership waiting on a salvage front differential to be installed. what an a$$ pain.
