Question Wiring To The Ballast On A 98 Envoy ???

I bought a set of Lexus ballast/igniter and bulbs to put on my 98 Envoy.
I can feel the stock wiring coming from the stock ballast to the igniter/bulb
assy. But where does the stock wiring go Into the stock ballast ? Do I need to
pull the front bumper cover to get to it ?
I'm thinking all I will have to do is plug that right into the connector to
the new lexus ballast ?

Thanks

yeah you have to pull the front bumper and bumper support to get to the ballast. also that should be all you have to do but don't quote me on that.

Damn.... Sounds like work !!! Hahahaha.....
I was hoping to just be able to reach in there somewhere and unplug the power to the ballast. I will probably be leaving the stock ballast in there anyways, just unhooked.
I'm figuring the bumper and supports have never been removed in 11 years......... I See A Fight Coming !!!! Along with a few broken bolts, skinned knuckles, a few choice words, and a few tools flying !!!

Just installed the new light, it wasn't as bad as I thought. I was able to get the wiring going into the factory ballast from the back side in the wheel well , just over the fog light. I plugged the Lexus ballast into the factory wiring with a little modification, and I Have Light !!! I used the bracket that held the factory ignitor/bulb in place and cut a notch in it and turned it upside down to hold the new bulb in. I pulled the styrofoam from under the bumper cover, wrapped the new ballast/ignitor in bubble wrap and placed it between the bumper and bumper cover.
Thanks to eBay, I bought one side for $42.00 and the other side for $33.00 !!!
FK GMC and their $1000.00 per side factory lights !!!!
I'm happy now, the cops will have to find someone else to pick on !!! Hahahha....
