where my ignition control module?
where is my ignition control module? i have a 2000 jimmy envoy 4.3 liter CPI Engine.
im replace the rotor and the distruber cap. i thought the control module would have been underneath the cap but i can't see it. any help would be great thank you gregory |

just to the left of the intake opening. there is a little piece with a heat sink on it on the same bracket as the coil.
it may be hard to see it in this picture, i will explain the best i can. see the AC evaporator with the brass colored fitting? look directly to the right of it, its the silver part right next to the fitting in the picture.  |

thank you thank you cpolaris502 but that wasn't my problem. i just wasted $75 bucks on that part at advanced. now im looking to see where my fuel pump is

i replaced both my coil and ign module last year also and it wasn't my problem. then i got lucky and bought an entire ignition from my friend for 25 bucks.
