wheel clearance 2000 bravada awd

2000 oldsmobile bravada awd
3 inch drop keys/3 inch blocks

Ive read the corvette wheel thread and determined i dont need spacers on front with 56mm offset...one inch spacers on rear to even everything out...i have drop keys with about 3 inch drop...my question is will i have clearance issues with an 18x9.5 C6 wheel or do i need to try to find them in 8.5...Thanks, nukldragr

Re: wheel clearance 2000 bravada awd

I am running 18 x 9.5's C5's on a 02 blazer with 3 inches of drop in the rear and about 2.5 in the front. I am running a 255 55 tire with no clearences problems at all. No rubbing lock to lock on the front and no spacer on the rear.

we have about 6 inches of melting snow on the ground rith now I will try to snap a couple in the next few days I went with a tire that was the height as the stockers for fuel milage and somewhat of a decent ride as mine is my daily.

Re: wheel clearance 2000 bravada awd

where did you find your wheels at? I was lookin to drop my blazer about 3" front and rear and put it on the biggest wheels/tires i can fit. I was thinkin 20s or 22s if theyll fit but i like the vette wheels

Re: wheel clearance 2000 bravada awd

do you think you could fit 19 x 10 or 10.5s on the 4x4?

Re: wheel clearance 2000 bravada awd

! am quite sure a 10 would fit without spacers my 9.5's have about 3/4 of an inch clearence at the tightest place i am just not a fan of spacers byt that is me. With a 10.5 on the back i would say you are going to need a space unless you want to beat on things and bend the emergency cable bracket. With over 1000 miles on the 255 on 9.5 i have had zero problems.
As long as you stay around the stock height of tires you shouldnt have any problems i can think of. As i said before i stayed with a 18 for a little extra side wall for a bit better ride.
