What The Hell Was It?
Alright the other day I was driving back to my house and ended up at a red light behind an obvious second gen Blazer. All normal and everything but on the tailgate, it had the TrailBlazer emblem. I thought maybe someone just put one there to be weird, but pulling up along side of him he was older (didn't look the type to stick random emblems on his truck) and it also had it on the doors.

Re: What The Hell Was It?
in the last like 2 or 3 years of the s-blazers exsistance they had a trailblazer package...its liek the envoy package on the jimmy...the trailblazer had the same rims at the regular blazer but the painted parts were gold not gray...im not sure on the other things it came with tho...i think it had seats with trailblazer stiched in them too

Re: What The Hell Was It?
Here's an answer...without pics...The Trailblazer was an upscale model. My folks bought one in '01 or 02..can't remember. It also had the Trailblazer logo emgroidered on the leather seats. Their Blazer is white with gold pinstriping and gold accent wheels. I don't know all of the diffs but there you go.
Damn low-s you beat me to it... Last edited by Rhotpursuit : 02-10-2007 at 02:39 PM. |

Re: What The Hell Was It?
That's probably what it was. That's odd, I've never seen one anywhere but that time and never seen one on here. They don't even have it listed on MSNautos I think.

Re: What The Hell Was It?
There are a couple here in Norman...I think the gold on the rims looks kind of tacky...not to say swirlies are the nicest, but gold looks worse

Re: What The Hell Was It?
It always surprises me when people say "I saw this weird truck" and it's something I've seen up here by Detroit quite a bit. I've seen plenty of S-series Trailblazers and quite a few Diamond Edition Jimmys. I think the Trailblazers were only offered w/ 4wd so they might be less popular in Southern states.
Little off topic but I actually have seats from a Diamond Edition Jimmy in my 2nd gen and LOOOOVE them. Ah heated leather! ![]() |

Re: What The Hell Was It?
Trailblazer is like the highest trim package for the later years.
I've seen a few around here. At first I thought it was just a shitty collision shop using the wrong emblems, till i looked a little closer Check out Edmunds.com they have info about it on there as well |

Re: What The Hell Was It?
I have one, it's just got the two-tone leather seats with trailblazer stitched onto the leather on the door panels and a waterfall lookin scene on the headrests.
This site, about halfway down, has pics of interior. 4X4REVIEW.COM: 1999 Chevrolet TrailBlazer Review |
