What should I use to change out my differential fluid?

Fixing on changing out my differential fluid and was wondering on what I should use?

gear oil. I cant remember the weight. It says the weight in the owners manual

All I know is that you're not supposed to use any synthetic oils because it will tear up the rtv sealant. Or so I was told by the guys at schucks
