what else can I expect to go wrong?

I flushed out the radiator due to sludge build up. only to find out that I have a blown head gasket. this is on top of the control arms bushings and about two sets of upper and lower ball joints. Not to mention the fuel pump earlier this year. What else can I expect to go bad on this truck ?

2000 gmc jimmy slt 4x4 auto 108k miles.

almost forgot I have a bad actuator for the front 4 wheel drive also

Make sure that when you put a new head gasket in to flush the motor with Motor Flush. Put it in, run it for a little while, drain the oil, add some more Motor Flush, run it again, then change the oil again. I think the mmotor flush is around $8.00 a quart, but if you don't use it a couple of times you will have problems depending on how long the head gasket has been blown. AntiFreeze gets around the bearings and oil will not wash it off. It will keep the oil washed off and eventually you will spin or seize a bearing. I had a '96 that this happened to. and drove it roughly 100 miles before I discovered what happened. Had a new head gasket put in and decided to trade it in. The Blazer only had like 23,000 miles when traded in at a lot. A guy that bought it only got about 14,000 more out of it before the bearings went south.

well it turned out that the head is cracked. there goes the motor. I got 2 grand for it on a trade in. I think that truck was made on a friday.
