What axles do I have?

I have a 1998 chevy blazer 4wd 4dr 4.3L what front and rear axles do I have? i know the rear is a 10 bolt but I have no idea how many splines and is it a 7.5 or a 7.65 ring. I have no clue what the front is. I need to know so I can buy lockers.
thanks

Re: What axles do I have?

i am pretty sure the 7.5 and the 7.65 are the same since when i ordered mine the guy never asked.. i just told him it was a 98 with a 10 bolt...

and from what i hear the front diff is to small to handle a locker...strength wise...

and its 7.25 i htink

Re: What axles do I have?

thanks, I couldn't even find the size of the ring gear for the front. That helps, I thought the front lookek kinda small, I wasnt going to put a locker up front. Ive had them in the front of the jeep I used to have and it made driving in the snow a freekish nightmear, I live in central NY on the shore of lake Ont, and when it snows its mostly measured in feet. I was thinking of buying a detroit Tru-Trac for the front, ist a clutchless gear type of limited slip that with a skilled left foot can have almost the same traction capacity of a locker without any of the draw backs. I had one a few years ago and they are great, I just wasnt sure of the strength of the fron axles in the s10's
