weird noise.

ok so a while ago my blazer 4wd developed this slight annoying hum and everytime you would stop you would hear burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... so judgeing by all the noises it sounded liek the bearings were bad .. there 13 yrs old my mother owned the truck for 9 yrs before i got it i no they were never changed when she had it .. so today i change them and the noise got alot better but theres still a slight hum but when i throw it into 4wd the hum is instantly gone and then when i put it back into 2wd it starts again.. any ideas... i dont think its cv's they looked fine when i had it all apart and theres no clicking.. but this shit is pissing me off

any ideas?

Try posting in the tranny & rearend section. You might get a better response.
