Water/Moisture in Cabin

My blazer has had this problem for awhile, pretty much since I got it from the dealer. The passenger side always seems to have moisture build up under the floor mat. Real bad, like its soaked. So I took my whole interior out and I came to find that the whole passenger side, from the front of the back seats foward was all wet with puddles and its now rusting and the paint is flaking. Just wanted to know if any of you has had anything of this nature happen or know why its happening....

Thanks!

Run silicone beading on all the weld seams up under the dash.... You sure there isn't any antifreeze mixed in with it? If there is, you more than likely have a blown heater core.

Re: Water/Moisture in Cabin

Just got home and have an idea of where the water is leakin in from. Those stupid pop-out windows. I think its leakin through the weather strip down the b-pillar and a puddle forms in that section which eventually leaks out into the cabin and flows forward. It's also drippin a very lil from the top, so dont know if the roof rack holes have anything to do with it. The driver side leaks as well because i just realized its wet in that same b-pillar location but no enough to flow over. I'll get some picks up...

Re: Water/Moisture in Cabin

Well I never really payed attention to the back area but since i took the interior out and drove in the rain the other day...the water settles a lot in the back. I just have to figure out how to seal that window to stop it.
