water in the rear ...

Anyone had any problems with water getting in the rear under the plastic piece by the gate?If you take that plate off,to where you can get to the washer line and some wires and electrical plugs.I was turning the other day and heard water and was like what the hell !!!Got back home and found it was full of water.Bad gasket by the window or what?????
I had to take the rear padding out of the cargo area, it got wet from water splashing around or condensation, but anyway,it was wet.

Re: water in the rear ...

is the water in your rear hatchdoor or is it in the rear quarter panels... does it have a tailgate or full hatch... it could be getting in behind your taillights if its getting in the quarter panels.. if its geting in you full hatch then its probley your window seal near the corners and its running down... i would just take a garden hose with a nozel on it and start spraying your truck down and look for the wet spots in the truck

Re: water in the rear ...

Its inside the cargo area.If you lift the window and let the gate down just like on the first generations, there is a plastic plate.Unsnap that piece and there is a hollow area under that and its holding water...
