Wanted pics of Bagged suspension setups kept under the cab.

I have an 01 Blazer im about to bag. I am looking for pics of rear setups that people have that do not go into the cab. I want to lower it as far as I can without cutting the floor.

Re: Wanted pics of Bagged suspension setups kept under the cab.

I started my notch today. Going about 2 and a half inches out of the frame and that should take me to the floor. With 20's and 245/40/20's Ill be about 3/4 of an inch off the ground which is close enough for me.

Re: Wanted pics of Bagged suspension setups kept under the cab.

Heres a pic of it done just before I painted it. Gonna do the passenger side in the morning. Came out pretty good and so far I have $18.00 into it. Cant believe they want like $90.00 for it. Ive got it notched all the way to the bottom of the body mount. Hope I have enough room to put the top of the pig right up against the body.

Re: Wanted pics of Bagged suspension setups kept under the cab.

Yeah it wasnt bad spent 9 and a half hours doing passenger side today. Came out pretty good for having about 20 bucks into it. Havent worked out my bag setup yet, I wanna keep my anti sway bar so its gonna take some creativity. Getting a set of front spindles next week for 200 and cant wait. Got my front bag mounts for 50 off craigslist and made my own shock relocator brackets. Hoping to either buy or make a tank in the next few weeks and get a compressor and some valves. Gotts get creative when your layed off and no money lol.

i hope it is just the angle of the picture but that notch looks no where close to the center of the axle.

I don't see how you could only be 3/4" from laying out with tires that size and a 2.5" notch

Re: Wanted pics of Bagged suspension setups kept under the cab.

The angle looks like that because the axle is dropped. When you put the truck on the ground it moves back. My kid said the same thing lol. I think Ill be a little more then 3/4" off I figured it with the wrong size tires. Budget is what Im all about. Got my metal from a small local place for 10 bucks I have another 8 in bolts and another 8 in cutoff wheels but still have some of those left. So I figure about 22 or 23 bucks into it. The top plate in the notch sits on the bottom of the body mount. Hope I never have to remove it lol. This isnt my 1st project Ive done other S10s, a C1500, Denali, Suburban and my H3.

Re: Wanted pics of Bagged suspension setups kept under the cab.

is it a 2 door or 4 door blazer?
Cause my notch is right at the bottom of my body mount too and theres not much room in there at all and this is with 15's, it lays leafspring but it might just bareley lay frame

I like those wheels

I don't want you to think I'm hatin on your stuff man. I just wanna make sure you got your information right and you know what you're getting yourself in to. Blazers are no fun to bag

Hey, how did you get that grill red ? I'm thinking about doing that to mine. I like the cowl hood too.

Re: Wanted pics of Bagged suspension setups kept under the cab.

It's half ass lowered right now. The hood and grill were on and painted when I bought the truck. It was lowered to but instead of using spindles in the front they used 3" drop springs. The back has a 4" block. Im waiting for my spindles to come in now should be here tomorrow or thursday. Cant wait the truck bottoms out bad in the front right now. Yeah I am learning that Blazers suck to bag. A bolt on each side of the truck, on the side of the notch was hitting the calipers so I had to take them out and weld the holes in. Only gonna do front and back if I do side to side it will def hit my notch.
