trying to narrow down a squeak or squeal
seem to be getting a wheel squeal or squeak when I'm in reverse and rolling slowly it increases with speed, otherwise I don't hear it at all when in forward gears. I'm thinking bad wheel bearings in the front although it almost sounds like its coming from the rear, its definitely not my pads or brakes just did all of them in may

Re: trying to narrow down a squeak or squeal
What year is it? If it is disc rear brakes, it could be the e-brake dragging.

A dry U-joint will also squeak.

Re: trying to narrow down a squeak or squeal
a mouse can sometimes squeek.
But for real I left my show truck in the garage all winter long and in the spring the A/C wouldn't blow very good so I took the blower out and found 3 baby mice and a bunch of insulation for a bed lol |
