trouble codes
i have a 96 blazer and was wandering is there any way to retrieve the codes with out a scan tool...i cant get it out of my garage right now and was wandering...thanx

this works on some vehicles.
Turn the ignition key ON,OFF,ON,OFF,and finally ON again(ENGINE NOT RUNNING) The codes will start to flash on the POWER LOSS or CHECK ENGINE light. FLASH,pause,FLASH,FLASH=code 12 |

this works on my neon i know, but on an s10 too?

Any GM 96 and later require a scanner. The procedure above works mostly for Chrysler.
