Just to let everyone know I contacted GM and tommy hilfiger this morning and I am waiting on feedback from both.I do not have high hopes for GM cause apparently they only keep records for a couple of years(at least that is what the Indian women at the outsourced call center told me.I guess only time will tell

Not mine, but ya all diamonds were 4 doors. Kinda like how the Blazer had the TrailBlazer edition, just an upscale version of the base.

I told you it was not too overdone.The interior is what sold me on it pkus it may be a zr2.I will not know for sure until I get it back from the shop.BUt one clue that it may be a ZR2 is the tire size is dead on,the fender flares,and the aluminum skid plates.

You mean the HID bulbs?

If so you need to go aftermarket, and make a plate to hold the bulbs in.

Cause the factory shit is like 700 for each bulb/ballast!!!!!

And see if its a real ZR2?

I called the stealer down the street by my house and he said the whole assembly would only be 200.00 a side and the lamps are 23.00. won't know if is a real ZR2 until the 28th.the dealer looked up my headlights just by giving him a VIN#.I hope he was right and not you

yea thats the price for normal S10 headlights, not envoy lights. your truck didnt come with those stock, youd have to give the dealer an envoy vin to get the correct prices.

the GMC version of the ZR2 was the Highrider

i didnt say it was stock, simply stated that your dealer took your vin and quoted a price for headlights that the vehicle came with from the factory. those envoy headlights - regardless of who put them on - did not come from the factory that way.

just got off the phone with NAPA and I priced the headlights for a 1998 Envoy and he said it is either 1 of two bulbs which range from $90.00 to $109.00 .That's a little easier to swallow than $700.00 or $800.00.But still not good

If its a Jimmy its NOT a ZR2 since they were only 03,04,05.

If its a blazer it could be a ZR2.

Also GM dealerships like to deny that any s series (envoy, diamond) ever had HIDs, let alone they are a real trim package.

Same for the iron front diff that GM as a company says was never made. LOL

Same for the double din radios in 02 1/2-05 rigs

And for blazers ever having a 5-speed.

A local dealership asked who swapped mine in cause it was a very clean job. I told them it was factory, they all laughed and said I was a dumb ass. I had them pull the vin and what do ya know..

They are just un imformed on alot of thing.

i thought this initially too, and you would probably know better than me since you have the envoy headlights. napaonline.com does list replacement bulbs for envoy headlights, heres a pic from the site:

they appear to be the real deal...do they look like the stock bulbs?

Which part of IT WAS A CUSTOM VEHICLE DONE BY GM AND HILFIGER DON"T YOU GET??? Anything goes. It could be a Blazer with a Jimmy front swapped on, it could be a real Jimmy with the ZR2 suspension. It has Envoy lights and is obviously NOT an Envoy. It has custom paint and interior. It was a one off so anything goes.

I already found that post and I will not know for 100% sure until I get it back from the shop on the 28th .there are a few clues that lead me to believe it is a high rider.It has 31 inch bf all the way around .it has fender flares, and it has the 4.3 vortec under the hood,and it sits a lot higher than my 2000 LS S10,and my buddies 4x4 jimmy.I will know a lot more on tuesday

I could not wait till Tuesday so I went down to the shop and talked them into letting me get in there and snap a few pics.

note the fully boxed frame from front to rear(my s10 does not have a fully boxed frame)

also it has the skid plates

here is the only place I could find rpo codes

Do I have a high rider or ZR2 or just a look alike?

In the glove box there should be a sticker with all the codes on it.

I belive it is a chevy blazer ZR2. With a GMC hood/grill/bumper and envoy headlights.

And FYI all blazers/jimmys have a 4.3L not just ZR2's

THere was no sticker in the glove box (not even any residue of one)the only sticker or stamp I could find was the one on the fire wall.I also looked on the fender but saw nothing

I forgot to look at the sticker on the door but that is the exact size of the tires that are on it and the same size as the spare hanging on the back and the one hanging on the back I was told was the original spare that came with the truck
