todays adventures

well,

i decided to change the plugs and wires first since i was sure they were the stockers. man was i right. it took alot of bleeding of the hands to get the damn plugs to break loose after 87k plus miles. so after all that was done, the wires for 1 and 3 were swapped to the correct config i went for the oil and filter. i'm not sure when the last owners changed the oil but it was a long time ago. then it was time for a test drive. i also figured i would find out if the 4 wheel drive works properly. so i head to this little place i found on a nonpopulated side of base and went to the hole in the ground i found weeks earlier. throw that puppy in 4 lo and get it locked into place, then i went in one side and up and over the other. then of course i went back the same way. then i tried the other hole. down the hole, up the other side and damn, high centered with nobody around. after trying to rock it back and forth i remembered i was in the desert so i just found a rock and stuffed it underneath the tire that was 2 or 3 inches off the ground. luckily that got me out. then coming home i couldn't figure out how to get the damn thing out of 4 lo. i was thinking i was going to have to ride all the way home doing 25 mph. but luckily i kept trying and finally figured it out. man i wish this thing would've come with an owners manual. but i guess that is how you learn when you're driving your first 4x4 vehicle. feel free to laugh and call me names. just wanted to share.
