to xtreme or not to xtreme
I have a xtreme body kit for my 96 2dr blazer. I'm getting ready to convert to a 95-97 composite grill and lights w/ a 98+ bumper painted. I got all the parts, just need the time and the weather to come together.
What I'm asking is do you all think the xtreme kit will go with that grill and light set up or should I go with a reg valance. If I don't do the xtreme kit I will bd the truck ( eventually ). I really like the look of the blazer xtreme but I don't know if it will go with my front end. oh and the blaze is bagged front and rear but it don't lay out completely yet. Still need to big notch the rear and raise the floor, plus ditch the front inners and notch for ties. Last edited by 9K CRAZY : 05-01-2009 at 02:29 AM. |

Re: to xtreme or not to xtreme
I would say no. it seems like most of the 2wd or lowered blazers are see are xtremes.

Re: to xtreme or not to xtreme
I personaly like Xtreme blazers ... but I wouldnt convert yours to Xtreme unless you planned on converting the front end to 98+ blazer or jimmy .. other wise it just looks like a body kit on a older blazer ...
of course I drive an Xtreme blazer so I say DO IT !!!! |

Re: to xtreme or not to xtreme
I would leave it like it is, I love the painted side between the rear windows. More pics please.

Re: to xtreme or not to xtreme
This why i love this forum. Ok, if I don't do the kite anyone interested? I am still going to change to a 98+ bumper so I would be looking for a SS gen 2 valance. Oh and that's not painted between the windows, I vinyled it in cause I changed my mind but I think I might keep it.
if I knew more bout computers I could post more pics but says they are in use else where in the forum. |

you should make a www.photobucket.com account. Then you can put them on there and link to them here with some nice, high quality pictures.

Re: to xtreme or not to xtreme
truck looks good. not personally a fan of the blacked out sides but to each their own. I'd say leave it w/out the kit, go with a 98+ bumper/valence and use some composite headlights and your good to go.

that was the plan, all ready got the composites and bumper. (and the purple is awsome...is that a prequal to what the truck will be painted??) IndigoSlowX ya, I was thinking dark purple semi-gloss or redoing the white w/ purple pin striping, classic rat rod style thanks guys, I'll be posting the kit for sale soon. Looks like a bd is in my future. |
