Timing check

i have a 95 jimmy 4.3L and i was wondering if many of you have checked the timing before? i'v never done it on a truck like this i have done the timing on older distributer cars but not like this. so was wondering if you's could give me some advice.thxs

If your dist is side post mounted (and not top post mounted) you have a locked distributor and cannot adjust timing...
