Timing?
How do you do it? One of my stepdads friends got a 96(I think) 4.3L vortec blazer that they just had the engine replaced in and he doesn't know how to time it. I haven't seen it or anything but he says it shakes real bad and backfires. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Timing?
Timing on a '96 is non-adjustable. You do have to get the gears to mesh with the right tooth though.
