The Bravada after my wife "drove" it... (now FS)

Well I wouldn't really call it driving... More like falling asleep while driving and going down 2 embankments and into a marsh field/mud pit!

She is fine and the vada didn't flip! Which if you saw the 2nd bank you would be in shock! So I'm very thankful for that but now I have this:

That's a stake under there; it got dragged w/ the wire.

Surprisingly, the damage isn't that bad but I really don't have the desire to fix it; so if anyone is looking for parts or want to buy it complete, just let me know!

2000 Bravada AWD w/ aprx 140k miles -Dark grey/black leather interior, heated electric seats - the motor still runs great, no damage to it. The bard wire is just stuck on some of the supports but it doesn't look like it broke anything besides the tailpipe.

Glad to hear she's ok. She should have played in the mud while there. LOL
After all Blazers etc. are good for that too.

I see the rego plate has recorded an ERRor message. LOL

Haha nah, she's a good girl. We have a 7month old son that is making her get up every hr still at night, so she is constantly tired. And sadly enough, she was heading home because she knew I wanted the vada to go to happy hr.

So I didn't know she was tired, but it's partly my fault she was driving.

But she is very lucky!!

Haha, I was saying after that, I just just thrown on those 31" ATs and the first time in the mud she does this!

Yes both mirrors are good and power. I'm giving it until today if someone wants the entire truck and then I'm going to part everything out. Make me an offer...

Glad your wife didn't get injured!

Keep in mind that there is no selling in the forums, except for the classified sections.

Re: The Bravada after my wife "drove" it... (now FS)

zoo---Where are you located? I'm interested in a leather swap for my '04 Blazer. I'd need all seats (f/r), complete wiring harnesses for same and all 4 door panels at the least. I'd also be interested in the center console/auto shifter if it was equipped with that. Also interested in the trip computer (in the upper console) with all the wiring (not just temp/compass).

x2 on the mud truck idea...would work well as a pure offroad vehicle. Glad to hear she's alright though. Looks like there's an entire eco system growing under the truck now! lol.

That is very tempting; but I've already done the "wheeling thing" plus I already have 2 projects I'm working on... Wish I could though...

Re: The Bravada after my wife "drove" it... (now FS)

I suppose you can only do so much at once eh?
If I was in the US and had some money I'd love to pick it up for a mud truck. Unfortunately, I have neither..lol.
BTW - that looks like the airbag sitting on the windshield...did they deploy?

Ya right now I do... 7month old son, new business, motorcycle bobber/chopper project, and a vw scirocco project. I have no free time; And no the bags didn't deploy, that's just a plastic bag w/ misc pieces from the front end.

Ya believe me I've thought about it, but as I noted above, time is VERY limited and I just don't have the heart to work on it. I haven't even taken the time to start stripping it for parts yet...

Wow, glad no ones hurt though. BTW what color interior does it have, if its black then I would love the door panels assuming their leather as I just did a katzkins interior on my truck and im only missing the fancy door panels.

Ya the sleepless nights really do suck! And honestly I'm not sure if the frame is bent or not, it might be but I haven't really gotten under there yet to confirm.

I always thought the interior was all black but the doors and seats look more like a dark gray I guess. Here is a picture of them. PM me if your interested in them.

No build thread yet. Since the vada is dead, I'm using the rocco as a DD right now and then this winter it will go under the knife. New rear quarter panels welded in, shave misc things off, shave the engine bay and then fresh respray. The motor is already built w/ pistons/rods/cams/port&polish/lsd/etc... So hopefully if the body work doesn't wipe me out, then I am hoping to install a 50trim t3/t4 turbo by next summer.

Here is what it looks like currently:

The black trim has been removed since this picture.

How much would you want for the entire truck? You can have the motor, transmission and transfer case if you would like to sell. I am interested in the rest of the vehicle. Interior and all.

Re: The Bravada after my wife "drove" it... (now FS)

Well the bravada is sold... My wife is still kicking herself because she really loved it! But what I think the worst part about it is, she found a "deal" on a 95 Ford Exploder to temporarily replace it. I told her not too but she does what she wants... I told her I wasn't going to work on it! hehe...

I will hopefully find another Bravada to replace this one asap!
