stupid question-where are all the ground connections?

I'm having electrical issues and it seems like that's something I should eliminate first. The other day I was getting small shocks from the car also. I'm just not positive where to find all of them.
97 blazer 4.3 BTW

what type of electrical issues? that may help to isolate the grounds. i dont know if your 97 is like my 99. i had a bunch of them up the firewall above the brake.

Re: stupid question-where are all the ground connections?

Well, the fuel pump won't operate, I hear the relay clicking and the fuses are OK. It just apparently went out cold the other day(although the pump could be shot too). I also have problems w/the ignition switch(it was replaced about 2 years ago). Certain positions while tilting the steering wheel it'll crank like its supposed to (no fuel pump though). Then in other positions no crank. There's a fair amount of corrosion under the car,so a bad ground is a possibility I should check first.
I looked underneath briefly yesterday, I think I found the one for the fuel pump. It's above the rear driver side wheel I believe. It's a green mesh wire I believe? I wasn't able to remove it to brush it down to get good metal to metal contact. Is that how I should clean it up or just brush down the connection in place?

You found the right ground for the fuel pump. Take it off to clean it. "Small shocks" from the truck might be static electrical shocks. You have grounds from battery and harness at left rear, theres others I'm sure but exactly where IDK. If you can't find one from motor to body (and frame) I'd put one in.

Just got time to look under there again, it seems the cable from the fuel pump connects to a larger set of wires that go to the trailer lights I believe. Above the spare tire is a ground cable that is bolted above the spare tire and goes over to the gas filler pipe.
It looks like this is the only ground I can see back here. they're rusted on pretty good. Any suggestions to getting them off? And which color wire is the fuel pump ground?

If you can't unscrew them then cut them off, strip wire & crimp a new eyelet on the wire. It would help to solder the crimp also. Then drill and screw into a new spot that you have cleaned off.
