Stuck in 4WD

99 Blazer 2Dr 4WD Push Button 4WD

I was driving home in 2WD and I saw the service 4wd light just pop on.
I drove till I hit my home street and just for the hell of it popped it into 4WD(idiiot move). It did it however now I can't get back into 2WD. It however doesn't feel the same in 4WD as it normally does which it having it harder to drive when you turn the wheels shaply. It seems just to only half wasy be in 4WD.

I"ve tried the 2WD button repeatedly and just blinks for a few times. I hear the clicking from behind the passenger side dash and then nothing.

I put it into neutral and hit the 2WD button and then listened and head a buzzing/not quite grinding sound coming from the transfer case.

Any ideas? I don't believe that this has a vacuum connection since it is an electronic transfer case.

Will I do more damage by driving it?
