stinky rubber problems...whats it from?

hey whats up, im new to this site and i just dropped my 2002 blazer and put some 20's on it. heres the problem. i used beltech 2" drop spindles and 3" blocks. i have nitto nt555 245/35zr20 tires. when i have been driving for about 20 or 30 minuets and i park it, it smells really bad like burnt rubber. after i dropped it i had it alligned. so i dont know what the problem is. any one ever had this problem, or know whats going on? any info would be helpfull. thanks newbie

ok, so the tires dont rub on any thing... could it be the brakes that are making that burnt smell? anyone???

possibly brakes. I bought cheap brakes and used them for one week before I switched out to ceramic brakes cuz my brakes always smelled real bad after stopping. you'll get better answers if you post in the "wheels, tires, and brakes" section.

hey, thanks alot. its probably about time i change my brakes, they are starting to squeel. but i didnt know they could make that burnt smell. thanks for the info though, ill put it in the wheels and tires section.

Check the rubber flaps on your fender liners. They're probably sitting back on or near the exhaust manifolds.

I have that smell from my rear drivers wheel. smells almost like electrical, but I believe I have a frozen up caliper. going to look at it soon.
