Squeaky front end?
Okay, I've noticed lately that my front/left side squeaks if I'm driving very slowly, like just moving around the driveway. I'm guessing it's like in the wheel cause when rolling when it comes to a full rotation it'll make the squeak noise over and over again. Also, it'll do it when I lightly use the brakes. I thought it was originally that problem, but the front brakes looked fine. Had my friend and myself look and then also took it to a shop for a second opionion. Anyone know what's going on with it? It's starting to get annoying. I have a '01 2DR 2WD

Re: Squeaky front end?
I would check your u-joints. Depending on where the squeak is coming from.
If you know its from the wheels, i have heard and experience a hub going bad (not the bearing) the hub squealing. But Im pretty sure its the u-joints. Go in reverse and see if you still hear it, and see if it still sounds like its coming from the front. |

Re: Squeaky front end?
i was going to say maybe you're dust shields are hitting your LCA's but i can see in your signature your still waiting for you lowering parts
maybe it just is your brakes man, even tho they look fine something brakes squeek. i know they have like brake dressing and stuff at autozone you can buy to help stop squeaks, maybe you can check into that. |

Re: Squeaky front end?
check front sway bar end links....mine had that, a little lithium spray grease did the trick.....
if you have a roof rack, grab it and rock the vehicle from side to side, if it squeaks it's a bushing and not your brakes |
