Spare Tire relocation

I have a 96 Jimmy 4x4 4 door with an auto tranny. spare tire is underneath the trunk area. I went to Monro Muffler today and he said If i wanted a dual exhaust the spare needs to go. is there a way I could get it mounted like on a 2 door blazer where its behind the tailgate on the swing arm? I dont really wanna put it on the roof or grill or inside so I dont have many options. Maybe a custom bracket on the tailgate so it swings down with I open the back. Mine has the tailgate and the back glass that open in opposite directions. Lemme know if I have any options.

Re: Spare Tire relocation

I think i'll just go with the single exhaust, it will be cheaper anyways...

Especially since I might be gettin married soon

Re: Spare Tire relocation

if you want to a custom exhaust shop they could probably find a way to put dual pipes on it and keep the spare tire where it is.
