signal clicking noise
hi everyone im new to the forums and i have a very annoying problem. My signals sound like there going off when im driving and goes away when brakes are applied ive searched the net and found lots of people have this problem from dirty contacts on the signal arm. i was just curious about your input on what could be wrong i figured you guys would know best, maybe give me an idea on whats wrong a how to or whatever thanks so much

i have that problem... every 3 or so months i jsut swap out the clicker and it goes away fr the time being... i just simply turn the radio when it starts to bug me... im not paying 400 or so bucks for a new signal arm assembly... i dunno if you have cruise control and all on your but it cost a small fortune for these damn things

I had the same problem with the same symptoms on my '00 Jimmy. The problem was with the multi-function switch on the steering column.
